This article explains why, in my opinion, Linux and the whole FLOSS movement do appear as the soul of Scouting made software: the first, if not only, kind of IT technology that should be proposed to Boy Scouts or used by their leaders.
Among other reactions, the publication of this article led to an interview about Scouting in which Richard Stallman and Ray Saunders (IT department director of the World Scout Bureau), mostly agree with my thesis.
