Bologna: Human Destinations... with OpenStreetMap and Open Data

On June 26th, 2015, the rural tourism network called “ViviSostenibile” (“Live Sustainably”) launched Destinazione Umana (Human Destination): “a new concept of travel, based not on WHERE you want to go, but on WHO you want to meet”.

A full report of the whole day was published by ViviSostenibile. My personal contribution to the launch was a practical explanation of how, and above all: why to create, using OpenStreetMap and Open Data, an historical map of the places discovered by traveling to “Human Destinations”. My report on that part of the day is in the article (in Italian) titled “OpenStreetMap and Open Data: how to make everybody discover them, also through tourism.
