Bologna
On June 13th I spoke in Bologna at the third Italian National Conference on Free Software in Bologna. The paper and talk I wrote for the Conference is: Report from Quito: A look at Free Software and Free Knowledge among Catholics and other communities in Latin America and what other Free Software Advocates may learn from them". You can also download the complete collection of all the papers discussed at the ConfSl09 Conference
The article which (among other things) started the Eleutheros Project: a summary, complete with links to official Vatican documents, of why Catholics have even more reasons than others to use and promote Free as in Freedom digital standards and software. This article is also available in Spanish.
My second talk at the Congress on Free Sw and Democratization of Knowledge in Quito: Perspectives of Free Software as a Social Movement, with mentions of the role that Catholics should play in it and of the Eleutheros Project.
